Juliet Wimhusrst will show slides illustrating the role of the divine and numinous feminine figures, showing some pre-Christian deities of Europe and the Near East, and some from medieval Christendom. We will talk about the symbolism attached to the feminine through the ages, particularly in relation to the natural world, and discuss its role in modern day Christianity.
This event will take place in the Julian Centre starting at 7.15pm. All welcome.
