His publications include books ranging from Augustine of Hippo to Celtic Saints, besides numerous articles and reviews. His doctoral thesis, Finding One Another in Christ, is a study of ecumenism in the life and writing of Henri Nouwen. He is currently researching the MacDurnan Gospel Book, an exquisite ninth-century manuscript once owned by King Æthelstan, now housed at Lambeth Palace. He is Librarian at the Julian Centre in Norwich. The Quiet Day, based on Chapter 6 of the Long Text of the Showings, will reflect on the goodness of God and His love for each one of us.
