Advent Tea at the Julian Centre in December 2017

Delicious high tea was enjoyed by a happy gathering at the Julian Centre.  Punctuated four times by the lighting of the traditional Advent candles, with pairs of readings from Julian about 'light', and from Isaiah about the coming Christ, a happy time of friendship, fellowship, and food was had by all - spanning an age range of about (we have to guess!)... 75 years from the babe in arms(at the time of this photo asleep)... Fr Michael McLean

Fr Michael McLean died on Monday 6th November 2017. He had moved to Walsingham and died after a short illness.

Fr Michael was Rector of St Julian's inNorwich. He was instrumental in bringing Fr Robert Llewelyn to Norwich and providing a wonderful ministry to parishioners, visitors and pilgrims. Fr Michael was very supportive of the development of the Julian Centre, especially the Julian Library. We will miss this remarkable priest and friend.
