We are thrilled to be able to tell you that a Julian Bell - amonngst others have now been hung in the Church of the Ascension, Rochester, New York, USA. The bells were made at Whitechapel Bell Foundry, London, and shipped over to the USA last year. The Julian Bell is No 7 out of 10. on a short journey through Rene’s 14 beautiful Stations of the Cross which hang in St Julian’s Church, that she designed and painted. Led by Canon M McLean. On Wednesday 17th Feb at 10.45am. Scones and coffee will be available afterwards at the Julian Centre where a small exhibition of Rene’s art will be held for you to view. Many of you may remember Irene (Rene)Ogden. She was head of art for many years at Norwich High School for girls. She is well known locally for her wonderful paintings, and we at the Julian Centre and Church know her best for her wonderful Stations of the Cross which hang in St Julian's Church. We are also lucky enough to have a range of watercolour postcards which she drew and painted for us.

Last week we were thrilled to welcome back our Patron of the Julian Centre, Patricia Routledge CBE. She was visiting Norwich and very kindly came to the Church & Centre. It was an absolute pleasure to welcome her back. She remains as captivating and entertaining as ever.
We will look forward to her next visit.
