11.00am Festival Eucharist, 12.00 Julian Lecture: Godelinde Gertrude Perk 'Stories Heard Through Anchorhold Walls: Julian's Narrative Art and Thelogy', 1.30pm Lunch interval (bring picnic lunch, teas/coffees available at the Julian Centre), 2.15pm AGM of the Friends of Julian, 3.15pm Evening Prayer. Following Evening Prayer the Companions of Julian will renew their commitment in the Julian Shrine.
Every year in Lent we try to stand beside Christ in his pain and to be filled with wonder, as Julian was, at the love that made him suffer for our sake. The booklet, Stations of the Cross, on sale at the Julian Centre, illustrated by the Stations in St Julian's church, matches scripture readings with passages from Julian.
